From Glasgow by car:

Head North west and merge onto the M8 from exit 28. Use the left 2 lanes to take the M74 exit toward M77/A8/Carlisle.

Take M77 Kilmarnock, keep right onto A77 and follow signs to Ayr, then Ayr Hospital. Drive past Ayr Hospital on A713 for approximately 2 miles then take a left onto the B742 Coylton road.

A mile along the road turn right onto drive sign posted Martnaham. Follow drive past big house to Swan Bothy.

Cob Cottage is immediately on your right as you turn into the drive.
